JesusMadePot on Monday 19 June 2023 - 13:07:03
Hey ya'll check out this link -http://members.aol.com/ubermurph/CAMP.htm -. It's just what I neededcto see.
JeffL on Monday 19 June 2023 - 11:52:26
Good deal starting the thread- I didn't want to step on anybody's toes, I know it's controversial.
Joe on Monday 19 June 2023 - 10:22:47
I wasn't too sure about it either, it is a bold claim, but once I read it and did some research of my own I had a hard time arguing against it. What about it do you have a hard time excepting?
JeffL on Monday 19 June 2023 - 10:00:46
I've read that stuff. Personally, I don't buy it.
JeffL on Monday 19 June 2023 - 09:59:59
My mind and my life and knowledge of existence does not even have the capacity to even dream of the place God has prepared for those who believe in Christ.
Joe on Monday 19 June 2023 - 00:45:45
The truth shall set us FREE. I wonder how good the pot must be in heaven...
Joe on Monday 19 June 2023 - 00:29:44
Amen JMP! I couldn't have said it better myself. I've been thinking about starting some sort of Cannabis Ministry where I live, but I don't even have the slightest clue how to go about it...I know it would make quite an impact because Cannabis and Religion aren't even uttered in the same sentance around here... Beyond that, what else can we do? I'd say the first step is to spread the truth. Have you all read "Cannabis and the Christ: Jesus Used Marajuana"? It's from an artilce in Cannabis Culture Magazine. Here's the [link] God Bless.

We are on the brink of a revolution. Let's fight against the prohibition. With God's strength in love, we will free the innocent and take the trade from the gangs and wicked poloticians. Let's not stop there. We need to reform the church. Let's take it from greedy men. Let's put Christ and His humility back in the church. We need a full fledged revolution. Let's give the power back to the people, in the government and the churches!

It seems like this community is slowly growing...it's wonderful to know that there are so many like-minded people out there. The Lord be with you all.

I think that a Christians for Cannabis MySpace page is genius. MySpace has become one of the most successful networking tools in a long time. Everybody has a page...why not our group?. Also JMP, I added you to friends.
JesusMadePot on Friday 16 June 2023 - 13:13:28
Okay, then. I will start a topic. I don't think you know what I'm trying to say!
JesusMadePot on Friday 16 June 2023 - 09:38:40
Check out My Space. [link] We definately need a page for this website. Would someone like to start a discussion? What can we do to see it happen. Is that what we want as a group? What about the owner?
JeffL on Thursday 15 June 2023 - 11:16:43
It's unanimous! a bongload a day keeps the doctor away!
JesusMadePot on Thursday 15 June 2023 - 10:14:13
It was one of the first things mentioned in the Bible. Of course it would have to be the best way. Your lungs wern't made for hot dry smoke, so I'd have to vote on the bong as the king of the pipes.
Joe on Thursday 15 June 2023 - 10:00:32
Alright, lets get some feedback here. Peferred method of consuming cannabis? Bong/waterpipe for me. Joints or Blunts are alright if you've got a large circle, but for those illustrious wake-&-bakes or a quick toke after dinner, nothing beats a fat bong rip to praise the Lord's name! Agree? Disagree?
Joe on Thursday 15 June 2023 - 09:55:51
Thanks JeffL! Hmm..maybe I was a bit stoned when I wrote that last comment haha...
JeffL on Thursday 15 June 2023 - 08:55:20
Shine. Make them wonder what youve got. Make them wish that they were not, On the outside looking in. Shine. Let us shine before all men. Let them see good works and then, Let them glorify the Lord!
JeffL on Wednesday 14 June 2023 - 16:09:39
Welcome Joe!
I don't know why, but I think I like JMP's answer better.
but still, if I'm not the only one, there might be something to it.
I wonder if there's ever been any studies published on it.
Joe on Wednesday 14 June 2023 - 14:43:07
I find that on occasion when I smoke excessively, that I get heartburn as well. I always thought that it was because cannabis relaxes most of the muscles in my body, possibly including the sphincter muscle that connects my esphagus to my stomach, and stomach acid escapes. Any thoughts?
JeffL on Tuesday 13 June 2023 - 16:29:26
you just found the cure for heartburn...use a waterpipe! man, all them nut doctors giving zantac 75, gaviscon, and all that other stuff... acid reflux nonsense. they need to start telling people to start taking bongloads!
Check out my new blog. I would love feedback. Here's to Seeking Truth! Here's to using weed as something that is at least okay with God, as long as heart attitude is right. FOLLOW CHRIST!!
I agree about cultural compromise. It's just that I see prohibition a cultural value imposed upon the Church; as far as I'm concerned an attack from the devil.
Those who seek the truth and are truly children of the Almighty will, as the scriptures say, "come out of her!". Mixing pagan beliefs and customs to "avoid persecution" is not only un-Biblical but satanic by defition (don't forget "ye shall be hated for MY NAME") his name was not pagan, his customs are not pagan, and you will be judged according those who continue to mix and refuse to repent once they have been told the truth.
Jeff, your name begins with a J (as does mine, Jarrett as well as JESUS) however did you know the letter J was not part of ANY ALPHABET (especially not Hebrew or Greek) until about 500 years ago? (this is all easily verified in a good encyclopedia or just "google it"). So how is it that the Savior and MessiYAH was named JESUS? It wasn't. His name was YAH'shua. "Jesus" or actually IESUS (the original name in the Greek) is really an intentional mistranslation which was done by the Roman Catholic Church. Iesus (pronounced "hey-zooz" or "Hail Zeus") is really just pagan worship of the false greek/roman god Zeus.
Actually, the early Church celebrated at the same time as cultural festivals of their communities to avoid persecution.
For instance, we see the word "Easter" in the Bible. But that dosen't mean I worship Ishtar in April. Even the Sunrise service was started to avoid persecution.
When you go to Church on SUNday you are in fact worshipping the SUN. Think Saturday is better? Nope! You are worshipping SATURN (he also has a "holiday" called Saturnalia, however you probably refer to it as Christmas).
The deception runs much deeper than just cannabis friends... you all know a little truth, now you must seek ALL truth.
That's a thought -provoking article. But there's something about corporate worship that is an integral part of the Way, and you kind of lose it without the Sunday Service. It's probably beacuse of our traditions.
But it's true that Churches can lean too much on marketing. I have a hard time in big churches. There's no conviction. We just need to keep it real.
