It is so encouraging to see a productive conversation concerning the drug on a mainstream Christian message board such as Christianity.com. For years ago, I was banned from Crosswalk for participating, not initiating, in a conversation because I supported legalization. Most recently, my minister's license was suspended for my position on this issue.

I have always believed that when enough people in the Christian community began to seriously look at this whole issue, the deceptions that caused their support of these unjust policies would be evident and they would take a strong stand against them. After all, it is something to rejoice over when we discover that we do not have to alienate and incarcerate the ones we love or the ones we are commanded to love.

As these discussions by believers become more common it will only be a matter of time before we see these laws changed.

I was refreshed to see other Christians that aprove of the legalisation of marijuana. I am not a user myself, but I have started a campaign here in Australia to get it depenalized.
It is a big uphill battle, but one we will win, God Willing. It is a very unjust law.

Keep praying. God bless, Jean

i have been a christuan for more than twenty yrs and i have been smoking pot for over ten yrs . many will say that being god's temple i should not.bad reason, when i se them eating mc donalds ,coffee, soda, donuts filled with fake fruit flavours.and of course we all agree that it is o.k to use all sort off prescrition drugs, beacause the doctor ordered it,my mom,s body and health gotmessed up byyrs ofuse .as for me i enjoy coming home and have a reefer,it relaxes me like others their prescription drugs,i go for weeks, months without, witch cant be said of the more legal valiums, prozac ... the lord has and is stiill using me ,praise him. anyway no mater what one migth say about that matter or any other sensitive issue , you will always have different point of views, especialy amongst christians but wether we agree or not ,our response should always be one of grace
